I click on the specific message in the list, and - you guessed it - NOTHING HAPPENS. Where selecting a particular conversation would seem to be the "meat and potatoes" of the App, even that doesn't work as it seems like it should. There are simple functions on the UI that just don't seem to work as I would expect. We start this review with an influential scheme of the upright posture control based on the idea of the inverted pendulum and the presence of center of pressure (CoP) oscillations, as important measure of postural stability. Various biomechanical and neurophysiological approaches have been used for understanding the mechanisms of balance control (Horak and Macpherson, 1995). Systematic experimental studies of the physiological mechanisms of postural regulation only began a century ago by Sherrington ( 1906, 1915) and were further developed by Magnus (Magnus and de Klein, 1912 Magnus, 1924) and Rademaker ( 1931). From clinical observations, it has long been known that lesions of the central nervous system may result in pronounced changes in posture. The Greek physician Galen of Pergamon was, probably, the first to introduce the concept of muscle tone in his work “De motu musculorum” (Galen, 1549). I have tried to repair some by increasing the tension on the pawl/index fingers to compensate for tooth wear of the index wheel, but that results in higher current consumption and shorter battery life. The design of tuning fork watches is such that if the index wheel stops moving and the fork continues to hum, the pawl/index jewels would probaly damage the index wheel. IMO most non-working Accutrons would need replacing a coil or index wheel or both. The most difficult part in repairing any tuning fork is getting replacement coils and index wheels. Since your father was repairing Accutrons, he would probably have had all the tools. But you'll need a microscope, Accutron test meter, ultrasonic cleaner and Accutron adjustment tools. The index hour markers and second hand incorporate a hexagonal design, corresponding to the quartz crystal, which symbolizes ultra-high precision.It's not that difficult.
